HHS Again Ranks in Top 100 W!se High Schools

HHS placed 8th in the 2019 ranking of the “100 Best W!se High Schools Teaching Personal Finance” and ranked 5th on the 2019 ranking of the top 10 small schools. W!se (Working in Support of Education) is a leading educational nonprofit with a mission to develop the financial literacy of young Americans. Being placed on the “100 Best” ranking means that students at HHS earned outstanding scores on W!se’s national standardized Financial Literacy Certification Test.

HHS administrators Kendra Addison and Gabe Long have made teaching financial literacy a crucial component of the curriculum.  By incorporating W!se’s award-winning program, the students at HHS have been empowered to take control of their future and ensure that they are able to achieve financial well-being.

Ms. Lisa Rose, personal finance teacher at HHS, traveled to the New York Stock Exchange in New York on Monday, April 15, 2019 to attend an invitation-only ceremony sponsored by Voya Financial recognizing the Top 100 schools.
