In the Parliamentary Procedure competition, students are given a random topic that they do not know prior to the event. They have to take a written exam on Robert's Rules, present an 11 minute demonstration using the topic they are given when they go in, and demonstrate 10 Parliamentary Procedures and answer oral questions. This is considered to be the most challenging competition that FFA members can participate in. The Holston team performed perfectly and didn't make a single mistake in the demonstration but Broadway High School outscored them on the exam which made for an extremely tight scoring competition. Mr. Cox (the advisor) stated that he was "so proud of the girls for working hard during nearly four months of before-school practices". Their dedication definitely paid off and they will get to compete for a National Title at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this November!!!
