Ms. Mitten’s English 9 Honors students had a busy week! After writing several drafts of a short story, each student used MagicSchool AI's Writing Tool for editing suggestions before writing a final draft. They also completed To Kill a Mockingbird and enjoyed an adaptation of Scout’s favorite snack—bread topped with homemade butter and sugar.

Students in Holston High School's Gifted Program volunteered at RVES with TechTrek, Washington County's mobile STEM trailer. Mrs. Julie Matlock and Mrs. Trudy Cobler coordinated this wonderful opportunity for all the students involved!
